SPRING

• Change air conditioning filter
• Clean and repair bathroom tile grout
• Check and replenish your hurricane emergency kit
• Order hurricane shutters now
• Clean dryer exhaust at wall connection and roof outlet
• Use a wet/dry vacuum to to clean out the air conditioning drip tube
• Clean out garage
• Trim landscape
• Clean gutters
• Clean roof
• Caulk around exterior of doors, windows, cracks, protrusions
• Examine the roof for missing shingles or flashing
• Touch-up exterior paint... check trim closely
• Plant something new

SUMMER

• Water lawn as necessary
• Vacuum refrigerator coils (underneath)
• Check for any soft exterior woodwork
• Check the siding for any necessary repairs
• Change air conditioning filter
• Close window shades to keep air conditioning costs down
• Install crown moulding to living room
• Make sure attic ventilation is working properly
• Check interior trim for signs of termites
• Inspect ceiling for signs of a roof leak, and follow up

FALL

• Change air conditioning filter
• Trim landscape
• General yard cleanup
• Use a wet/dry vacuum to to clean out the air conditioning drip tube
• Clean and repair gutters
• Clean roof of any debris
• Check exterior for signs of insect nests
• Caulk around windows and doors
• Drain hot water heater
• Clean refrigerator coils
• Sees and fertilize your grass

WINTER

• Change air conditioning filter (yes, again!)
• Clean driveway, seal cracks
• Open windows for ventilation and energy saving
• Properly dispose of leftover paint or other chemicals
• Clean out clothes dryer exhaust vent
• Touch-up interior painting... or choose a new color
• Change smoke alarm batteries
• Test GFI outlets (have them installed in kitchen and bath if not already)
